Nice, but WAY OVER Priced.
Good video and i like your recipe and enthusiasm. Don’t want to be too picky but Le Creuset are not ceramic – they are cast iron that has been enamelled. I love these things because you can cook on the cooktop, in the oven and even present at the table.
i want one but cant imagine coughing up the $300+. *siiiiiigh*
I have used your recipe on several occasions but I have yet to thank you…so thank you! It’s wonderful.
@felipedalba
(sorry im french)
no, you pay for the toughness of the thing.
My set of le creuset, still last after 30 years. Today, you pay for the design of thing and nothing last 30 years…
But, these thing gonna live with you all your life….
well … i know how it feels…. i bought a le creuset myself… i live in brazil and a 20cm pan costs about 350 dolars here.. its really expensive.. but it was worth it….and just like you i could not believe the shrimp risotto i just made… the smell the texture the taste is amazing….. its better than any other pan… makes you fell like a pro….. im stunned with the pan… your chicken looks amazing… and le creuset makes everything taste good without adding a lot of things…
chill out
“chuck” in some fresh basil when you serve it.
I’m hungry!
ih liybe dih.
Your video is charming. Thanks for taking the time to share your world with the rest of us =D
Loved your enthusiasm! Thanks for sharing your recipe! You were obviously (deservedly) proud of your results. Congratulations!
I was just a little bit uncomfortable about your touching your nose quite so much, or the proximity of the food to the dog. But that’s just me. After all, it’s not like you’ve invited me over for dinner.
I’m really NOT trying to be snarky. I’m just a little phobic about cleanliness/hygiene.
Best wishes for future dishes!
BTW Le Creuset IS the best!
no she doesnt, you do
Cast iron is fantastic but I prefer mine without the enamel coating. I like the bare metal which I season myself. I’m not sure but I think the non enameled stuff transfers heat a little better.
Luv the stuff – buy it at a factory outlet store for the best value. There is one in Birch Run Michigan. They will usually ship very cheep
Buenos Dias, Chilanga. It’s funny how I discovered you on Youtube. I was looking for recipes that I can use with my Le Creuset. It was a gift that’s been sitting in my kitchen cupboard for months. I’m using now, and I absolutely love it. I came across this video, and now I enjoy viewing your posts.
u suck
… I hope it worked out . . . but it’s so not the same. Go for Le Creuset!! Go for the real deal it’s worth it!
Oh hi, its cast iron with an enamel finish, not ceramic. OH MY GOD!
Chicken smells delish by the way.
I just purchased 2 enameled castiron pots on the net but haven’t received them yet. Needless to say, I’m on pins and needles with anticipation. Although I did not go for the Le Creuset brand, they’re still the same type of cookware. What I ordered was a 6-qt. blue dutch oven and a 3-qt. red covered casserole, both made by Lodge Castiron in the USA. I’m sure I’ll be just a giddy after my first time using mine! Great vid, btw, really fealt your pride and contentment!
I’ve always wanted to get one for making roasts/chicken, etc. It’s supposed to be great for browning before cooking. I am searching for a traditional Le Creuset cobalt blue French pan. Love your enthusiasm! Nothing like using fresh herbs and veggies with a great chicken dish! They are pretty heavy, no? Jeannemarie
